Hello, I'm Alice.
I am a native Chinese speaker, and I also studied psychology for two years. That background helps me understand how adults learn a new language—patiently, step by step, without pressure.
My teaching style is relaxed, encouraging, and practical. I focus on real‑life conversation, so you can use Chinese immediately. Mistakes are welcome; they are simply part of the journey.
A little about me personally: I love dancing, working out, watching movies, and K‑pop dancing. These interests often pop up in my lessons—for example, we might talk about a movie plot, practice dance‑related vocabulary, or share workout routines in Chinese. Learning becomes more fun when it connects to what you enjoy.
I am committed to your progress. Every lesson is prepared with clear goals, and I always give you kind but helpful correction. My students describe me as patient, warm, and easy to talk to.

Hi, I'm Alice, Chinese name is 云锦. I'm a native Chinese speaker with a CTCSOL certificate (official Chinese teaching qualification). I also studied psychology for two years, so I understand how adults learn best.
My teaching method
I keep lessons relaxed and practical. You'll learn real-life phrases you can use right away – for travel, work, or talking with friends. No boring grammar drills.
A typical 45‑minute lesson
Warm-up & review (10 min): Free talk + quick review
New content (20 min): 3–5 useful phrases + role-play
Practice & wrap-up (15 min): You speak, I correct gently + small fun homework

I love dancing, working out, movies, and K‑pop. We can learn Chinese through song lyrics, movie clips, or dance moves.

我性格温和，也有点小幽默。我在英国学习生活了很多年，一直在英企工作，所以我的英语非常熟练。但我最爱的，还是自己的母语——中文。
