Chinese is a simple and artistic language. There are two major misconceptions in traditional Mandarin teaching:
1, Many characters carry meaning within their forms, so effective Mandarin learning should begin with Chinese characters rather than relying solely on Pinyin.
2,Chinese characters do not have fixed word classes. A character’s role in a sentence depends entirely on where you put it.
Applying Western grammar rules makes learning unnecessarily difficult.
By uncovering the basic logic of Chinese, we can significantly speed up Mandarin learning.
