My name is Oriel. I'm from China and now I live in Thailand. I graduated from Xi'an Peihua University in 2025 with a degree in Nursing. During my university years, I often assisted our Chinese language teachers in teaching international students. I helped them learn basic expressions like “今天中午吃了什么?” (“What did you eat for lunch today?”), and supported the teachers with checking homework and organizing cultural activities—such as Chinese history lessons and traditional festivals. My internship was in a hospital, where I not only learned how to take care of patients, but also developed strong patience and compassion. These experiences taught me how to communicate with people from different backgrounds, which is also very important in language teaching. I came to Thailand because I was deeply drawn by the kindness of the people and the rich culture. I'm very interested in cross-cultural communication, and I believe that language is not just a tool—it's a window into how people live, feel, and think. Becoming a Chinese teacher for international students is a meaningful opportunity for me. It allows me to keep growing, while also helping others learn and grow together with me. I'm also comfortable with using technology in the classroom. I often use AI tools like ChatGPT, and I believe that integrating smart tools can make learning more fun, interactive, and efficient.
